Children of the Philippines

The journey is never long when you take it with a friend!

Over the past 37 years I have taken many a journey with my husband and best friend.

After years of traveling together and patiently watching Joel take all the pictures, I finally asked for my own camera.

I remember the request well. We were walking through the crowded streets of Chengdu, China and my eyes longed to capture everything I was seeing.

It was then, I finally decided, that no one should ever have to share a camera!

That Christmas under the tree was a beautiful, red Canon camera. It was that Christmas and the many years beyond, when the world began to change for me; as now I began to see it, behind a simple camera lens.

Now I see everything behind the lens of my i-phone, and I still find that I capture the delight of God’s unique creation through every single click!

May you catch a tiny glimpse of the Master Designer’s incredible sense of beauty and design as you walk through this photo journal.

I don’t claim to be a photographer; but I do love the sound of a good “click”!

Capturing the inquisitive beauty of the sweet children of the Philippines.

After twenty-five years as a missionary, Linda Jane is now entering a new ministry role as pastor’s wife; where she will serve alongside of her husband Joel, in Warren, Pennsylvania. The calling to serve Christ remains the same, as does her endeavor to reach women with the gospel message, and to teach them to live authentically out of who God created them to be. Linda's passion is communication through the spoken and written word, photography and illustration. She loves all things cultural, creative and colorful.
